Jiangsu's first 300 MW salt cavern compressed air energy storage project connected to the grid for power generation
At 9:18 am on July 1st, Unit 1 of the Guoxin Su Yan Huai'an Salt Cave Compressed Air Energy Storage Project was successfully connected to the grid for power generation, marking a major breakthrough in Guoxin's technology roadmap in the field of compressed air energy storage. As one of the largest single unit compressed air energy storage projects in the world, this project is also Jiangsu's first 300 MW compressed air energy storage project, with a total investment of about 3.7 billion yuan, and plans to build two 300 MW systems. The project adopts the world's first non supplementary combustion technology route of "molten salt+pressurized heat medium water storage", realizing the national production of core equipment and providing the "Guoxin solution" for large capacity and high conversion rate compressed air energy storage in China.
After completion, the system can achieve 16 hours of compression and 8 hours of power generation per day, with energy storage equivalent to 2.4 million kilowatt hours of electrochemical energy storage power station. The single storage capacity can reach 1.2 million kilowatt hours, which can meet the peak electricity demand of 600000 households. This project not only improves the stable operation level of Jiangsu power grid, but also provides important support for building a new type of power system. It is a major achievement of Provincial Guoxin Group in the field of new energy storage and technological innovation practice.

We plan to purchase equipment such as molecular sieve purifiers, high-temperature turbocharging expanders, low-temperature turbocharging expanders, coolers, and storage tanks.
Construction content: Mainly producing products such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, etc. The main production process is to use cryogenic method to separate oxygen, nitrogen, and argon gases from air. After the project is completed and put into operation, it can achieve an annual production capacity of 86000 tons of liquid nitrogen, 72000 tons of liquid oxygen, and 14000 tons of liquid argon.

According to the Ulanqab Daily, on June 30th, the 1.05 million kilowatt/6.3 million kilowatt hour compressed air energy storage project jointly invested and constructed by China Railway Construction Development Group Co., Ltd. and Inner Mongolia Yousai Technology Co., Ltd. started construction in Lihua Town, Zhuozi County.
The project leader Bao Yu introduced that the total investment of the project is 9.267 billion yuan, covering an area of 700 acres. It adopts internationally leading advanced adiabatic compressed air energy storage technology, with an energy conversion efficiency of over 65%. It is planned to be completed and put into operation on December 31, 2026.
It is reported that this project is currently the world's largest installed compressed air energy storage project. It is expected that after the completion of the project, it can store over 2 billion kilowatt hours of new energy electricity annually, achieve an annual sales revenue of about 1 billion yuan, and create more than 100 million yuan in tax revenue. The implementation of the project will effectively reduce the phenomenon of new energy abandonment, significantly improve the efficiency of new energy power generation utilization, and have good economic and ecological benefits. The bare cooling inspection of the 33000Nm ³/h air separation unit in Guangxi Hengyi has been successfully completed. Recently, the 206 project department of Zhejiang Industrial Equipment Installation Group has successfully completed the bare cooling inspection of the first phase 33000Nm ³/h air separation unit in Guangxi Hengyi New Materials Co., Ltd. As a key step in the installation and acceptance of air separation equipment, the project department has developed a detailed inspection plan to test the performance of the device through low-temperature simulation operation environment, identify and solve hidden dangers in advance, and provide guarantees for the stable operation of the equipment.
During the inspection process, the construction personnel overcame difficulties such as low temperature environment and strictly followed the plan to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the pipes, valves and other equipment inside the cold box to ensure that there were no leakage points. After 2 days of intense homework, the inspection work was successfully completed, marking a critical progress in the project. This inspection demonstrates the professional ability and dedication of the 206 project team, laying the foundation for the timely and high-quality operation of subsequent devices.
