Recently, Messer, a leading global supplier of industrial gases, medical gases, and specialty gases, announced that it will invest in building a new gas plant in Xinzhan High tech Zone, Hefei City, Anhui Province, China, to better serve the growing demand for high-quality gases in the high-end electronic manufacturing industry in the region. On May 8th, Messer and Hefei New Station High tech Zone Management Committee officially signed a project investment agreement.

It is reported that the project is planned to cover an area of about 26000 square meters, with a total planned investment of 340 million yuan, and is expected to achieve the first phase of production in the second half of 2026. The new plant will mainly provide bulk gas and supporting services for the 8.6th generation AMOLED display panel production line in the region, further improving Messer's gas supply network in East China.
