Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission officially approved Sichuan Air Separation Equipment (Group) Co., Ltd.'s selection as a national enterprise technology center, marking the birth of Jianyang's first national level innovation platform. As a well-established enterprise with nearly 60 years of deep cultivation in the field of low-temperature equipment manufacturing, Sichuan Air Separation Group has established a research and development system centered on the Institute of Cryogenic Equipment, Welding Research Institute, and Low Temperature Engineering Technology Research Institute. It has achieved breakthrough results such as the first domestically produced million cubic meter high-purity helium extraction device. Through technological innovation in the entire industry chain, such as natural gas liquefaction and BOG helium extraction, it has formed technical barriers in the fields of ultra large air separation equipment and rare gas purification, with a leading number of patents and achievement conversion rates in the industry.

The reason for being selected for the national team this time is the result of Jianyang's continuous implementation of an innovation driven strategy. Through measures such as strengthening the cultivation of innovative entities, enhancing the level of enterprise research and development institutions, and promoting deep integration of industry, academia, and research, Sichuan Air Separation Group has been promoted to become a research and manufacturing base for cryogenic equipment in China.
