Cryogenic liquid tank operating risks
a. The temperature of Cryogenic liquid is low, anti-static thermal insulation clothes required to avoid frostbite and static electric fire.
b. If the Cryogenic liquid oxygen storage tankis not emptied for a long time, it may cause the accumulation of hydrocarbons (there is a slight explosion phenomenon)
c. Cryogenic liquid nitrogenis relatively large and has a suffocation hazard (nitrogen accumulation at the moment of leakage) Therefore, cryogenic liquid nitrogen storage tanks should not be placed indoors but in an open air circulation position.
d. Vacuum insulation pipes should be used before the Cryogenic Liquid Cylinder Filling Pump (unnecessary vaporization may cause cavitation of the pump)
e. In areas with high air humidity, a large amount of condensed water is likely to be generated around cryogenictransportation pipelines and Cryogenic Liquid Pumps. Pay attention to cable leakage. [Causing electric shock injury]
Cryogenic liquid tank operating procedures
a. First of all, confirm that thegas filling station equipment of the storage tank are correct and that the valve is sensitive and reliable.
b. Before filling the liquid, open the top gas vent valve, and then slowly fill the tank with liquid.
c. Pay attention to the pressure change in the tankand oxygen filling pump, and control the pressure in the tank not to exceed 90% of the design pressure.
d. When filling the liquid in hot state, pay attention to the temperature in the tank, and increase the filling speed when it reaches the filling temperature (﹣140 degrees Celsius).
e. Always Pay attention to the pressure of the insulation space , and it should not be lower than the atmospheric pressure. When the pressure is low, the pressure (nitrogen or dirty nitrogen) should be added in time.
f. When filling the liquidfilling stations for sale, the maximum liquid level in the tank shall not exceed the maximum set value, and the minimum liquid level shall not be lower than the set value.
g. The storage tank must not be used with overpressure and negative pressure
h. Note that no frosting is allowed on the insulation layer and the outer shell, and analyze the space gas composition in timefor Cryogenic Liquid Cylinder Filling Pump.
i. The liquid in the liquid oxygen storage tankcannot be parked for a long period of time. It must be filled and discharged frequently to avoid the concentration of harmful impurities of acetylene.
j. The acetylene content in the liquid oxygen storage tankis analyzed within the prescribed time limit (weekly), if abnormalities, measures should beentaken to discharge part of the liquid oxygen in time to make the acetylene content in the tank less than 0.1ppm.
